Facts and History

University Libraries is a part of the UNM College of University Libraries & Learning Sciences and has over three million volumes and millions more electronic resources in a combination of specialized and traditional collections of great depth. Services across the system are provided by expert staff and faculty who put the needs of our UNM community as their highest priority. Parish Library Services Building located in the Anderson School of Management provides workspace for the Technical Services Team and the college Information Technology Team but is closed to the general public. The South Campus Repository is under development to become a long-term climate-controlled location for seldom-used materials.

In our three library buildings we provide a wide range of dynamic learning spaces for students that can meet the needs of the graduate student who needs absolute quiet or the group of undergraduates tasked with a collaborative project to finish.
