Research Clinics
Fall 2026 clinics will run during weeks 6-11
When the semester is in full gear and research assignments are on the horizon, remember that the library is here to help! Come to our research clinics where you’ll have time to work on your research project with one-on-one help from UNM librarians. Plan on attending the entire time (75 minutes), and please bring your research assignment to the clinic. We can help you
- Figure out how to research your topic
- Save time by recommending databases
- Learn search tips
- Understand how and why information is organized into formats, such as scholarly journal articles
- Cite what you find
A CTL Writing Tutor will be available during the Mondays at 1:00 and Thursdays at 2:00 Clinics this semester.

Spring 2026 schedule: February 23 - April 9
If you are unable to find a time that works for you, there is a make-up tutorial available. Make sure you save a copy of the certificate of completion to submit to your instructor for credit.Alternatively, you can schedule a make-up session with a librarian. Please note that make-ups are only available during weeks 6 -11. If your instructor has questions about the clinic make-up, have them email us: Email Contact
Before you Attend a Research Clinic
If you are an ENGL 1120 student, please complete your online library tutorial prior to attending a Research Clinic.
